Hey there, I can tell you and I ALREADY have something in common...

I'm the kind of person who goes into a bookstore, picks up a book of interest and then immediately looks to the back cover to find out more "about the author". 

Well, this page is a lot like that.  (But I'm going to juice it up a bit by telling you the "3 Universal Workout Truths" I use to help men and women FINALLY reach their fitness, fat loss and physique goals - just keep reading to see what I mean.)

Coach Eddie Lomax is the Founder & President of the Optimum Fitness Network LLC., Headquartered in Delaware, USA.

His philosophy of fitness is called OptiFitness...

3 Universal Workout Truths

I think the best way to get to know me (and determine if my fitness programs are right for you), is to learn the 3 Universal Workout Truths that guide my thinking.  If you and I were to meet, or I was training you in person, these are the truths I would drill into your head.

(By the way, I didn't create these truths... many coaches and trainers talk about them and I don't really know if there is "one" creator.  But this much is true, any coach or trainer worth listening to knows these truths!)

Here we go...


1. There Is NO "Best" Workout

What I mean is, there is no "Perfect" workout that works for all people, goals and needs at all times.  The "Holy Grail" of workouts does not exist... and failure to understand this keeps you in constant "search mode".  But there is a "best" workout for YOU and your current short term goals. 

This leads me to #2...

2. EVERY Workout Program "Works" To Some Degree

Coaches, trainers and exercisers get so caught up in defending THEIR workout program as the best, they fail to realize ALL workout programs have something to offer.  Getting into debates as to what training method, equipment, intensity, etc. is "THE BEST" is counterproductive.  ALL types of exercise and physical training programs have something to offer.  The trick is to figure out WHICH workout program is right for your current goals and needs... and doing that one!

But don't forget #3...

3. NO Workout Program Works Forever!

The reason you perform a workout is to force your body to ADAPT in a specific way that RESULTS in meeting your goals.  Adaptation to unfamiliar challenges is what keeps your body progressing... whether the adaptation be building muscle, burning fat, improving performance, etc.  But when the "unfamiliar" becomes FAMILIAR... the results diminish.  When this happens... it's time for a change!

If you've looked over the workout program I prescribe, you can easily see how these "TRUTHS" guide my workout program creation.  I did not set out to create the "Perfect" workout program for every person, goal and need.  I set out to provide MULTIPLE workout programs that can be used at different times to keep you on a steady progression towards the ULTIMATE GOAL of a fit, lean, strong, capable body under the greatest amount of circumstances.

One workout cannot do everything at all times.  But rotating between a series of workouts that focus on different goals without sacrificing past progress can.  This is why there are so many programs associated with my workouts.

There is one more thing I want you to know about me...

I'm not the kind of person who spends a lot of time talking about my abilities, bragging about my fitness or body and showing off.  I know there are a lot of other coaches, trainers and product owners who do that, but it is just not my style.  And here's why...
